Thought i’d outweigh the bad with some good. I feel like you just need to come at the right time maybe? I’ve come closer to closing and close to opening. Absolutely phenomenal food and service every time. Never experience anyone rude either (cooks or cashier lol). :) and they had allll the toppings and salsas out! Is it the BESSSTTTT I’ve ever had? Absolutely not but it’s by far not the worst either lol. The Aurora location is FIRE as well - I do like that one more but this one is closer to my house lol
There’s literally no seasoning on the meat :( i appreciate the variety of salsas but it’s not worth it to eat salsa on unseasoned ‘taco’ meat
I got the Cucumber Refresher and straight up Taste like chemicals or they didn’t make it right, because I go to the one in Aurora and it takes really good. I asked to cashier if I can exchange it for a different one and she told me I couldn’t which to me is really bad customer service. The floors are also disgusting and not clean / Sanitary
Tacos El Metate never disappoints! The breakfast burritos are the bomb and the service is always fast and friendly. There is a salsa bar, and it can be hard to choose which sauce will be best. Today I had an egg burrito, no meat, and got the hot pickeld onions and avocado salsa, perfect combo for a little tasty heat!
This place has changed… I’m not sure if it’s under new management or what. The sauce bar had less than half of the options they used to. The famous Avacado sauce that was house made by the sweetest old lady, is now flavorless (just bland Avacado and cilantro). This round we got al pastor tacos and the meat was in big hunks and also didn’t have flavor, at least they had the pineapple on them this time.
