Like some of the other reviews, I had experienced poor customer service with Tacoma Bike. I received a non-welcoming glance from two employees, and then was ignored for the 15 minutes as I was browsing the shop. No greeting. No one asked to assist me. I found what I was looking for, and was further annoyed by the bike mechanic with attitude running the register. Worst Bike shop in Tacoma!! I walked in didn't even get greeted the White guys working there glanced at me and said Nothing to me! I gues they figured oh his just a Mexican who Knows Nothing about Bikes! Or oh hes a Broke Mexican because they gave me some very judgemental and very unwelcoming looks when i walked in. I dropped my bicycle off so the peddle could be replaced. Instead the store takes it upon themselves to replace the crank set INSTEAD of the broken peddle I SPECIFICALLY asked them to fix. I had a friend go pick up my bike for me, and when I got the bike back the problem of the BROKEN PEDDLE was still my problem even though I had taken the bike to them and SPECIFICALLY said my peddle needed to be replaced. Great product and great service! Hands down the best bike shop in the south puget sound, and quite possibly western washington... They especially know road bikes, and their bike techs are first class!!!
I have to admit that having this place in the area is really life changing. I ride bikes now and I see how convenient having a ride to everywhere.
