I had an unfortunate experience with this restaurant today. I placed a large take out order for pickup, and since it was a large order (dinner for 8), I figured I'd give them extra time, and I placed the order several hours in advance with a scheduled pickup time at 6:15 pm. It seems they didn't notice that the order was for pickup later, as when I got there, the order was completely cold and wilted. The quacamole had turned brown. Based on a colleague’s recommendation, I had to try the fish taco. I was not disappointed. Definitely recommend. Next time I will also try the cauliflower taco, as it is also recommended.
The quality of the food has gone way down. My family used to love coming to tacofino as a treat for many years, but the last couple of visits left us wondering if the fact that they opened so many locations have affected the quality and integrity of their food. Sadly we will no longer be returning.
Hands down the best Tacofino!
