The buffalo cauliflower taco was delicious. Two tacos are plenty enough for a satisfying meal. The location was a bit noisy when we were there but the atmosphere is fun and casual.
Super hit and miss. The lack of consistency is frustrating. I was particularly put off at this location upon placing my order when I asked for my burrito to be cut in half so I could share with my boyfriend. The person taking our order actually told us this isn’t usually possible due to covid-19, and would have to make a special request to kitchen staff. This just doesn’t make any sense to me. We’re regulars at the Tacofino Mount Pleasant location and have always loved it, but our experience at the Hastings Street restaurant was really disappointing. My wife ordered the fried chicken taco and I had the fried chicken burrito bowl — both were mostly batter with barely any chicken, and neither tasted fresh. It’s a shame, because we came in expecting the same quality and flavour we usually enjoy at Tacofino. Definitely not up to their usual standard.
