We ordered Combo #2 and Super Nachos. Tater tots were the best we had in a long time. Pepsi beverage for a medium size was pretty big and it tasted good. Softshell tacos, the meat flavoring was not my cup of tea. As to Nachos, the tortilla chips had an aftertaste. The service was great.
The food was good but a little too spicy , i had the chicken and rice grande burritto it was ok. I had the tator totts with the meal they were good and crunch. I had a mountain dew to drink. CMC Photographer , Reviewer
**** Amount of Food Rip Off *** I am a business owner myself - so I am not enjoying doing this at all. Today was my first time trying Taco John’s. I ordered 2 Boss Bowl Combos Meals. 1 chicken Boss Bowl $7.99 (I request less rice) 1 Steak Boss Bowl $7.99 2 tater bowls = $12.38 Service was great! However, the amount of food in my bowl was ridiculous. Each boss bowl had approx 2-3 tablespoons of food. Nothing like the photo shown on Menu. As others have said, the wait times for drive through are quite slow. I was the only person in the drive through and waited 5-10 minutes for just 3 tacos. And then, when I got them, they were cold inside. If you’re really craving fast food Mexican, I would go to Taco Bell. However, if you’re like me and were starving and this place was around the corner, it’s fine. It will definitely satisfy you.
