Had not been to a Taco John's in a very long time. This was a favorite lunch spot when I was in high school (we had an open campus). The food has not changed from what I remember. They have the best cheese sauce of any fast food Mexican place. I had the potatoes oles - they come smothered with taco ingredients and a ton of cheese sauce. I tell you - as good as I remember. Best taco salad in town. Freshly fried flour tortilla bowl. Good variety and portions of ingredients. They also have good options for the kids menu. And don't forget Taco Tuesday!
Superior to the competition
I don't know how this place always manages to mess up the most simple orders. Ordered a cheese quesadilla combo and they forgot the drink and only put cheese in HALF THE QUESADILLA. How?? Employees also act like it's such a burden to give you the things you pay for too. I always come back because I genuinely like the food but I give up.
