This is my first time ever having any Taco John’s and can say that it is probably the worst taco fast food place I’ve ever had. My boyfriend thinks maybe it’s just this restaurant in Ankeny as he has had it before and he says it’s been way better. Ordered a steak quesadilla, the cheese wasn’t even melted — so it was basically a shredded cheese tortilla with brisket? It was supposed to be steak, but tasted nowhere close.
