My food is always hot and fresh! I believe his name is Caleb, the young man, that took our order he is always so friendly.
The Waterloo Iowa location- Lexi (a manager) took on advising me of DoorDash placing my food on the ground in their parking lot while DoorDash driver worked on his car. He had my order over 25 mins before she called to tell me. She states DoorDash wanted to give me $3 vs the refund. She told me to throw the food away and that she could not redo the order if I had someone come and get it. I was told to wait while she fought DoorDash. No calls back. Whenever I am in the area, I love to stop at Taco John's!!! They always have amazing food and great customer service. Caleb, in the drive-thru was really accommodating/helpful when I added on to my order at the window. It's SUPER rare here, but if I ever have an issue they are always eager to fix it.
If I could give them more stars I would. Unlike the other taco chain down the road on Laporte, the staff is always super friendly & fast. Always get nice hot food that's always nicely put together. A definite "go-to" around here. And the potato-olés are the best🔥🔥🔥
