The last couple of times I went to columbus nc, taco bell has been terrible!!! Went inside to pick up orders & they basically ignored inside customers. I was doing Door Dash orders. I asked if cheese sauce was in bag & kid snapped & said he was manager & everything was in the bag. I replied last week I personally ordered nacho fries & cheese sauce wasn't in bag when I got home. Something needs to give. Poor management. Maybe we should go through drive through & stay put at window until our order is ready.
They had 3 people working. Customers that ordered through the drive thru got their orders. Customers that came inside were completely ignored. They couldn't even place an order. I watched several people get mad and leave. I waited 20 minutes for a Doordash order that kept getting pushed back for drive thru orders. If you ever feel the need to go there I don't recommend going inside.
Disappointing, since this used to be one of the more tolerable fast food options in the area. Not that it was ever fantastic, but the quality seems to have declined over time, at least based on my sporadic visits. It barely meets the already low bar set by better Taco Bell locations elsewhere. Maybe it's just a sign to stick with authentic Mexican food if you can find it this far from the border.
