I get a 30-minute lunch break. I usually order in the app and clock out as soon as it says it’s ready. Most of the time, there’s no issue. Today, however, I had no drink or cup. I called out and asked if I could get a cup but got no response. There was a lady working the drive thru, so I gave it a minute, then asked again. Someone else told me it would be just a minute. Went in to order and stood for a couple of minutes. The manager I’m assuming came from the kitchen stating it would be a while before we could order. Apparently it was her and the other employee that had to go to the bathroom. Doesn’t know when they would be back but when they are done and all washed up they could help us. Well that turned my stomach. All i could think of was him using the bathroom and having to wash his hands. No 2 I’m assuming lol. So we left. Proper communication skills are definitely needed there.
