Taco and Bar deserves an award for making customers feel completely invisible. Over 10 minutes just to order drinks, another eternity for drinks and a cold dip to arrive, and then not a single check-in. It’s 95 degrees outside, our drinks sat empty, we ran out of chips, and we had to track down our server ourselves just to ask for refills and place our dinner order. What an experience. Apparently the new dining concept here is seeing how long customers can sit before receiving a drink. I made it to 15 minutes. After our appetizer was dropped off, our server disappeared like she had entered witness protection. We ran out of chips and never once got checked on. Not a single “How’s everything?” or “Can I get you anything?” As for the bartender, watching the drinks get made was like watching someone try to solve a puzzle they weren’t expecting.
