Our entire family has just returned from another wonderful annual family vacation at Taboo Golf Resort on beautiful Lake Muskoka, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year! Very Disappointing Experience For the premium price, Taboo Muskoka Golf Resort fell well short of expectations. The golf course conditions were disappointing, with areas that appeared poorly maintained, and the pace of play was far too slow. Customer service lacked the level of professionalism you'd expect from a luxury resort, and overall the experience did not justify the cost. While the scenery is beautiful, that's not enough to make up for the poor value. I wouldn't return or recommend.
If you're looking for the most overpriced and underwhelming golf experience in Muskoka, Taboo is a top contender. The marketing promises a premium golf resort, but the reality falls well short. For the amount they charge, you'd expect immaculate course conditions, exceptional service, and attention to detail. Instead, it feels like you're paying luxury prices for a mediocre experience.
