Nicely done dishes, everything we tried was great. the service is a bit inexperienced and slow but i am sure it will improve.
I had the mushroom ragout and it was heavenly, although I wish they used whole wheat.
I have never been so satisfied with vegetarian food as I was from Table Verte. The food will blow your mind, if you are a vegan or vegetarian. If you are not it will be surprising to you how much you enjoy french cusines with no meat. They do not use fake meats or weird processed vegetarian products. Table Verte is whole foods and unprocessed perfect for plant based eaters. The food is just amazing and very affordable.
We went here last weekend with some friends. Two things that make this place immediately more appealing are that it's vegetarian *and* BYOB. There's no corking fee for your bottles, either, which is nice. <br /> The food was very good - not the best vegetarian in the city, but still certainly well above average. A friend had a gnocchi in truffle oil and cheese dish that was probably the best at our table, but it was so rich that by the end of the meal it became too much. We aren't vegetarians but often eat veg (not vegan, usually), so we wanted to try this place as a different take on vegetarian (French-inflected). We were NOT disappointed! The celery soup du jour was miles above the old Campbell's cream of celery my mother used to serve, and my husband loved his yam cake.
