My first time seeing a dr. in about 10 years, and my presence was barely acknowledged. She came in, we had a lovely conversation and some fun banter, so I thought she was cool, so much so, I didn't mind she was about 25 mins late (which is probably good for most docs, but reviews on ZocDocs hailed her on-time record), w/10 of those minutes being her in the next room chatting it up w/another patient about nothing in particular. Dr. Tabitha has amazing bedside manner and presence. Shes patient she doesnt rush and she LISTENS. Shes so attentive she caught that I had low functioning heart valves after seeing several doctors who told me not to stress so much. Shes called me to check on my progress. I am so happy with my care. I am never changing doctors again. Ill follow her anywhere in NY.
She is an amazing Physician who listens to her patients and actually cares.
She the best provider I ever have had. Unfortunately she is no longer with Mount Sinai.
I just clicked on to give a review and top 1 was a 1-star review saying that Dr. Witthauer didn't spend any time. I had the opposite experience. It took a while for her to get in and I was upset because the assistant who gave me the blood pressure wasn't good and used the digital blood pressure kit that squeezed my arm for a very long period of time and then she had to redo it.
