New neighborhood gem!!!
Not the same place. As a few others have recently noted, the place has changed names and changed menu. It’s not as good. There was more variety and choice and the fish was nicely presented and fresh (before when it was taberu nomu). Now as suki desu, there are few options and the fish is all chopped up and not very nice to look at. I was so disappointed as this was my go to casual Japanese place. I will not be going back.
It’s not the same after the menu change. Please bring back the old Donburi menu! Ever since discovering this restaurant last fall, I’ve been back no less than 10 times. The quality of the fish is incredible. Having experienced the best omakases in nyc, TM has been the best value casual sushi spot that comes close to omakase quality. Extremely sad to see TM lose its unique touch and become one of those unexciting spots.
