I had zero expectations for this dump. Although it wasn’t as piggish as I anticipated. Wow. This establishment is excellent. The staff were incredibly encouraging they treaded us like royal members. They offered us water and slick wifi.i enthusiastically watched them thoroughly clean each room with dillengent care. The rooms were spotless. Not a single cent of grime. Absolutely disgusting and a total scam – do NOT book this place. We drove all the way from Melbourne, exhausted after hours on the road, only to arrive at a nightmare. The property was filthy beyond belief — the floors hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like weeks, the bathroom was grimy and smelled terrible, and the beds looked like they hadn’t been changed or touched since the last guest left. I arrived at Goulburn, thinking there are alot of motels here on my way to snowy mountains. Well it was fully booked! I decided to try the pubs. The Exchange Hotel was the only place with rooms available. I booked over the phone for $120 a night. Luckily they didn't ask for my card details which was strange, because on arrival I had trouble finding the key box as it was completely unlit and derelict at 8pm.
