Can't close your savings account and get your money without paying for a wire transfer or you can transfer money at a $3000 daily amount at a rate of $15.00 per transfer. So $100,000.00 savings account will cost you a $30.00 wire transfer fee or you can transfer $3000 daily at $15.00 per transaction which would take you 33 days and cost you $500.00. Their only other option is a Certified Check mailed to you which may or may not arrive through the USPS. REALLY not Client/User friendly !!

This bank *can* require you to send them your DRIVER'S LICENSE via email to open an account, if you happen to answer one of the identity verification questions incorrectly. This is extremely unsafe. I'm absolutely astounded that they are requiring this to open our savings account. Every major financial corp has a data breach and they want us to EMAIL sensitive information to them. Really? I've never had a company ask me to do this. Oh, also, the manager in the New Accounts department was mean and condescending. Great work TA... read more

I opened a 9 month CD with TAB Bank. Before the maturity date arrived, I emailed the bank using their website email form. I didn't receive a response. I sent another email when the CD matured, again using the bank's own form . Again, no response. Ten days after my first email I called the customer service line. I got specific instructions for closing my account and requesting electronic transfer of my funds. I wrote, printed out, signed,, scanned, and sent a letter with all the necessary information. HORRIBLE BANK I gave it one star because zero is not allowed. I opened my account and deposited my paycheck (from the State of Maryland, Treasure Office) It was rejected under the suspicion of being a "bad check" (it wasn't of course, I've been working for the State of Maryland for more than 5 years, the check was immediately accepted by my other bank, with no problems of any type.) I opened an account on 4/12/19 with a $959.89 deposit. A couple of weeks later my account was “frozen”. I called the bank several times to get an explanation and get my money back. The only reason given, for closing my acct., was security. I spoke with the manager in security and was met with arrogance and ridicule. I was told that it will take 3 months for them to investigate, before they would release my funds. This has been a very unpleasant experience.
