My girlfriend, her parents, son and I all went to this TRex place. I was kinda neat when we walked in. I looked at my menu there was poor descriptions of the meals. The price was about the same if not more than the Cheesecake Factory so I was hoping my food would be just as good. My girlfriend just got an appetizer which was the price of a meal. We got our food, her dad was missing his French fries, her mom didn't get her sauce on her chicken wrap my lasagna was thrown in the microwave! They charge me almost 20$ for food I c... read more
We went there with our children and enjoyed it. The food was great. It was lots of fun for all of us.
I went here once before, had a hamburger that was soo nasty & which had me feeling sick afterwards... today, several months later my daughter begged me to go, so we all went, thinking maybe i'd try something else this time & it would be better... my husband, daughter, and I are all feeling so sick in the bathroom, obviously some type of bacteria... we brought leftovers home for the dog & gave them to him before we knew the food was bad, & now he sick as well... what's crazy is we all had three completely different meals, but... read more
Expensive and not Great This place, of course, is REALLY cool for the kids, but the food is not great and it's VERY overpriced. We have been twice, the first time we got actual food, the second just appetizers. I'd definitely advise you to just get the appetizers. It was a lot cheaper to feed everyone and it wasn't nearly as yucky as the dinner food. After we ate, we paid for the paliozone. -Not worth the money. I want to say it was like $6 or so just for my 2 year old and it was crowded and not really as cool as i thought i... read more
craziness We took my 4 year old nephew here and at first the gigantic t-Rex in the entrance spooked him, but then he became mesmerized by it. The place was a madhouse with kids running all around and the adults trying to find them. The wait to sit and eat was well over an hour, so wouldn't recommend going on a Saturday afternoon.
Expensive, but Fun The food at T-Rex is typical -- pizzas, burgers, pasta, etc, many with "dinosaur-themed" names. The real pull, of course, is the environment. It is particularly fun for kids, but the bar area offers some interest for adults too. Kids can "dig" for treasures and bones, and learn a fair bit about dinosaurs in the process. It is somewhat like the atmosphere in a Rainforest Cafe, but kicked up a notch. Aside from the food, there are a lot of opportunities to buy extras, like the "Build-a-Dino" workshop, so be ... read more
