I would like to start this review off by saying NO ONE is perfect!!! No not even Assura Windows & Doors. My wife and I spent over $3000.00 dollars on glass sliding doors and my handyman had to cut off a 1/4 inch to make it fit. Now I am aware that adjustments need to be made. Perhaps to the opening not the door itself. The doors were a 1/4 inch too high and apparently it's impossible that you or your machine made a mistake as a consequence my wife and had to incur additional charges to get the doors to fit. We renovated our home in 2019 and used Assura Windows because they were slightly cheaper than PGT. 5 years later we greatly regret that decision. From day 1 the windows never closed or sealed properly, sweated in the winter and are laughably non-sound deadening to the point where it sounds like the windows are open when they are closed. The manufacturing quality of the windows is terrible; cheap hardware, misaligned joints and faulty paint, which is really starting to show. They came and installed and did a great job however, as soon as they left I had trouble locking the doors. Unfortunately it was a Friday and after hours so the office was closed. I had to tie a rope around the handles to secure the doors. I was nervous the whole weekend and finally on monday I called them and the man who installed said he would come by later that day. I purchased windows from this company I now realize there product is middle of the road and there customer service is terrible I had a problem with a slider window it cracked internally I sent pictures but without anyone coming out to see it they said warranty claim denied…I now have heard this is common with them. Wish I had that info before I purchased them….

I purchased Assua sliding glass windows through Florida Window and doors 4 years ago. Installers Florida Window and Door have refused to repair or replace corrosive trackers and frames. Assua has refused to even examine the issues I’m having. This is a total disgrace, how can companies get away with installing such poor materials, consumers are at there mercy.
