If I could leave 0 stars I would. The experience I've had with Mr. McDonald and his wife Jodi has been horrible. Our home has major structural issues that are directly caused by the quality (lack of) of Mr. McDonald and his subs. We even found out that the warranty contract we were given at closing was never submitted or paid for by Mr. McDonald so we will be out of our own pocket for the needed repairs to the foundation with no recourse to be reimbursed. My wife and purchased a new home built by T J McDonald Construction in December 2018. There are several cracks in the concrete slab foundation both in the garage and throughout the interior of the house which have propagated through the porcelain tile flooring. I initially contacted the contractor (T J McDonald) when we first began seeing the cracks in the Spring of 2020; however, he dismissed the issue saying the cracking is only caused by “normal settling”. Did not follow blue prints. Hired kids to do some of the techical work like hanging doors.
Nearly caused an accident. Needs to learn how to drive. Reflects very poorly on business.
Did not follow architect plans properly job ran 7 months over completion date, personal property disappeared, still waiting for a response for a replacement of a French door they installed, now 12 weeks . They do not return phone calls.
