I tried several times to purchase a CD online and failed. After several attempts you get locked out and have to try again in 24 hours only to fail again. Turns out it's because I don't have the NEW Drivers License. I was sent an application by e-mail and sent it back and was approved. They should mention that on their web site.
I’m not sure if this is a legitimate business. I have seen their signs around Dallas for a pretty nice rate on CD's. I've tried online twice now to buy one and it does not work either time. I've taken my business to another bank where I was actually able to purchase their product.
I'd been seeing the sign offering a CD at 5.25% APY, which is good. I called and the minimum is only $1000, so I thought, cool, I"m going to do this. I tried doing it online, but failed. So I show up to the lobby at 8:15am on a Wednesday. Turns out the lobby doesn't open until 9am (OOPS!). Well, Tracy, the SVP of Operations, says, it's cool, I'll do it, come on back. She proceeded to set up my CD before the lobby hours even began! I'm a new customer, and after Tracy's help, will be a lifelong customer.
Okay Im moving all accounts to this bank, I am a small micro business and did not have the energy to try and navigate the PPP/EIDL SBA nightmare. They made the process easy, the bank president is the most humble individual in the world.
