Dr Szoke has been our PCP for over 20 years, In 2001 my husband was in ICU for almost a week with an oxygen level of 20, I firmly believe that without the Lord and the care provided by Dr. Szoke, my husband would have died. He is caring and never makes you feel rushed.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Szoke for the past 18 years. That in and of itself must tell anyone how highly we think of him.
My husband was a patient of Dr. Szoke. He was having episodes of weakness and feeling unwell, as well as back pain. Dr. Szoke did an x-ray of his back which only showed arthritis. He didn't do any further investigation, not even blood tests. He just diagnosed depression and gave him a prescription for an antidepressant. We switched to another doctor, who ran blood tests showing his testosterone was low. He now takes testosterone and is doing great. So I don't recommend Dr. Szoke at all.
We have been with Dr Szoke for 16 years now and are very happy with his service. He reminds us of the old fashion kind of Dr who could diagnose a situation very easy. When necessary he would refer to a specialist. Dr. Szoke is very people friendly, he always has a positive attitude and a smile which to us is a sign of how he cares for his patients.
Be warned, he always has a smile on his face but that's all your getting. Forget about him spending any time with you, actually examining you or explaining your diagnosis. Unless you're seeing him for a common sinus infection, I would recommend seeing a Doctor that will actually examine you and care about you as a patient.
Friendly and to the point. He's always got a smile on his face and he explains things in a way that's easy to understand. I appreciate those things.
