A friend recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a small takeout spot and a little easy to miss from the road, but the Szechuan food is really authentic and tasty. I ordered the mapo tofu and dan dan noodles, and both were excellent. The mapo tofu was flavorful and spicy with that nice numbing kick from the Szechuan peppercorns, and the tofu was really soft and soaked up the sauce well. I love this place the food is fresh and the people are amazing
We placed a delivery order at 4:45pm on a Friday with an estimated delivery time of 5:30pm which seemed reasonable given the time of day and the distance. This information was on our order confirmation from the place itself. I then decided to download the app (beyond menu) that actually tracks our delivery and saw that our food wasn’t going to be delivered until 6:10pm, 40 minutes later!
