I remember when Szechuan City first opened how exciting it was to have some new Chinese food in the area. New owners, new ideas, new recipes...all great...for a while at least. After a short time they started to dip down in the consistency of the food...So we stopped ordering from them for quite some time. My family placed a take out order on April 30th for 3 adults....... $77. I ordered the "House Special" Yang Zhou fried rice- chicken, pork and 'baby' shrimp. Not sure I can post pictures here so I will just say the pork was something that was1/4 square inch in size. Not what i deem pork! The chicken- couldn't tell. I brought the dish back the next day and was told "that's pork". I never expected such a dismissal and a curt explanation esp for a house special! Will not be back!
Beyond bland. I would love to support a local restaurant but the take out food was very disappointing. Maybe it’s better in person but it’s unlikely I’ll try. Sorry for the poor review.
Delicious food. This our go to spot in the area on the way from the city! Great friendly service too!
We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area for quite some time; a place that serves Szechuan and other dishes that aren't the same old same old. This is it. We were warmly welcomed and service was very good. Our cocktails weren't kid drinks and our food did not disappoint. Everything was tasty, properly spiced with very generous portions. We will be back.
