Good University...at least for journalism The school has a strong journalism program, although I have heard that other areas of the school (medical and biology in particular) are very weak. Aside from education, the fitness facilities are horribly antiquated if you don't play for a sports team. The dorms are exceptionally clean and large, however. As any college, pick the reason you are there before picking Syracuse.
A good, friendly university I am currently a graduate student at this university. I have previously attended 2 other universities, including an Ivy League school, but this is the one where I am happiest. I also have friedns in other schools, so I have a decent idea of what to expect. At other schools, people tend to get lost in the crowd; the administrations are typically rather harsh (especially at the Ivy League school), and students are pretty much ignored.
