Average Beer, Below Average Service – I have visited twice, and I am unlikely to visit again. On my first visit, I sampled the beers produced on site and took home a growler. The honey-wheat light beer I decided on was decent--certainly not outstanding compared to the fuller-flavored better valued beers from local breweries like Middle Ages, Ommegang, or Ithaca. Good Microbrew! – The Syracuse Suds Factory is a casual, somewhat noisy microbrewery/bar/eatery. The Suds Factory has an extensive offering of bottled beers and brews seven of its own beers (as well as a root beer.) Its pale ale is surprisingly good and is worth making the trip to the Armory Square area of downtown.
