After having seen a large number of their goofy videos on youtube, my GF and I discovered this was actually 1hr away from where we lived. So booked a mini-trip to New Braunfels and spent an hour or so here just chatting with the guy and playing the synths. The synth selection is ever changing but we saw a nice collection of vintage and modern synths, drum machines, and keyboard workstations. Extra props for the guy working there wearing a "The Chronic" t-shirt. Syntaur for life!
never got past the first phone call. they hung up on me. i told them i had seen them in a YT video and was calling because of that. they kept coming up with reasons why they couldn't help me. THEY NEVER ASKED ME WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS. strangest thing i've ever seen. they hung up on me when i reminded him he didn't even know what i wanted. from this introduction, they should get NO stars, but they make you add it.
I am officially a fan. Sam and his team are amazing and it was a joy to visit their shop and do business with them at New Braunfels.
Got the parts I needed to repair my yamaha MM6. Parts came quicker than expected shipping date and everything worked smoothly.
Great shop dedicated to the craft of keeping old synths alive. Showroom has new high end synths from Waldorf to Korg, ready to demo, not like big box music stores. The real charm comes from the vintage selection going back decades, you will find fully restored classics.
