I have had Synovus bank for about 12 years. Basically first of May they gave me 22 days to find another checking account. They did not give any reasons. Not even we appreciate the business you had together just a “Your accounts will be closed on May 27,2025. I sell Vape and Legal Hemp products and they even shut down my Real Estate account and I had an account for security deposits and they shut that down also. Again no explanation. Slow and unhelpful. Mess up my transactions or cards every time. You’d think being the main office the branch would have competent employees but that’s just not the case.
I visited this bank for the third time to deposit a check, the lady at the teller window did not inform me of the long waiting periods, before depositing, and made the transaction, I asked her and she told me that it takes more than 10 days, I explained that I had deposited other checks before and asked for help. She just referred me to another young man there, and told me to go to the agency where I opened my account. You call for customer service and all what they got to offer you as a frustrating answer machine. Only the mentally ill speaks with machines, we want to speak with a person and ask questions, not stupid machines. Provide real professional customer service please and not cheaply frustrating machines that don't give you an option to speak with a person. Taking my money to a more respectable bank! Hire Customer service representatives and don't be stingy. We want people to answer customers' calls!
