The doctor and nurses here are AMAZING (they each deserve a star). I’ve been a patient for about 8 years, but we now need to find a new clinic. The office staff repeatedly calls to charge us for “missed appointments” that never happened—this has occurred multiple times. My husband and I rely heavily on our synced Google calendars due to his unpredictable travel schedule, so we know when we have appointments. Dr. Kornder & both the nurses I met prior to getting my IUD swapped were phenomenal. My appointment was booked in quick & easy. Instructions of how the appointment would run was clear so I knew ahead of time what to expect. Upon arrival, I didn’t even have to sit in the waiting room as I was taken in right away. The nurses & Dr. Kornder were all very kind & trauma informed, which is super important in this setting. They offer a couple different pain management options too! THE BEST PART: Dr McKoen!!!!!! Unfortunately, I’ve had to be heavily reliant on the healthcare system which seems to deteriorate every day but Dr McKoen shocked me in every way for being AMAZING at every turn! She is EXACTLY what I wish every health care professional could be: warm, relatable, kind, thorough, compassionate, insanely informed/trained/educated, well spoken and clear and concise in her instructions and she was so patient with me when the procedure was a lot harder on me than either of us expected.
