I had a long section of gravel driveway paved by Synergy back in summer of 2021. At that time they were mostly just a sealcoating company and told me they were just starting to do full asphalt paving, which should have been a red flag for me. The section of driveway is about 200 feet long and goes to an outbuilding. I told them at the quote time AND at the time of paving "PLEASE the only thing I ask is that you grade away from the shop so water doesn't run in, like it's been doing." OK you got it.
