The Syracuse Orchestra just keeps getting better and better, and I didn’t think that was possible. Opening night was amazing. The excitement in the audience when the musicians finished Camille Saint Saen’s Symphony No. 3 in C Minor OrganSymphony Op. 78 was electric!
Emotionally moving!
The orchestra and the conductor (Larry Loh) are great, and it's such a treat to be have access to this kind of high-quality music-making in Central NY. My big concern, however, is the fact that concerts are accompanied by the chewing and crackling of popcorn and the falling of empty beer/soda cans. This is unacceptable in a space where the word "pianissimo" matters.
I had an amazing time listening to the Syracuse Orchestra where all are welcome, dressed up or down. Anyone from anywhere can enjoy the incredible shows from highly talented performers. I definitely recommend everyone consider attending.
