I had a great experience getting my hair braided! My hair is shorter since I cut it into a pixie three months ago, but it’s been growing out. Sylvia let me know it would cost a little extra and that the braids would need to be smaller — she didn’t turn me away. The end result was exactly what I wanted, and I love how my hair looks. I’d definitely come back!
Had an appointment at 6:30 am it's now 7:15 no one available to do my hair as of now. Why ask for a deposit if braiders aren't on time? If the customer is late we have consequences SMH
I have being to this place 4 times and they have never did what I asked. I would advise anyone going there just do a simple low package price for your hair when u go there , go there when u really don’t have anywhere else to go or u just need a quick hair appointment but don’t go there for ur classic looks ohhhh am warning you. Updated review!! Definitely a different experience this time. The young lady at the desk was great. She was VERY attentive and communicated everything. It was a bit of a wait even with an appointment but she did communicate that to us. My daughter stated her braider was really nice and she did a great job, my daughter loves her hair. Only gave 4 stars because of the extended wait and having to wait for a braider that could do the style she wanted. Over all a better experience. honestly i did love this braiding salon because they’re quick and very friendly but i feel like its inconsistent. I got my hair done a week ago and paid $270 for boho braids with human hair. the human hair they use is falling out piece by piece and i really feel like i wasted my money which is frustrating. Im not sure if i would return based off of that or maybe i wont pay extra next time for human hair if it wont even stay in your braids :(
