The people to see if you're going to Sylvania Wilderness. They'll have the canoes waiting for you at the put in, just stop by at the shop for paddles and PFDs. Always took care of us, over a dozen trips. Nice people too. Just call ahead to reserve canoes. I recommend Kevlar if you're going to be portaging much. Last-minute items available in the shop. They can give fishing hints.
Bob has been doing this for 54 years! He was super knowledgeable of the area and left great knowledge with us as visitors. We did the small river canoe trip for 2 hours with our kid, was cheap and we had a shuttle! Made our trip out here wonderful.
