Was going to day hike in the Sylvania Wilderness but my plantar fasciitis was acting up. So at the last minute decided to rent a canoe and paddle instead. Pulled into their driveway and 10 minutes later was leaving with a canoe on the roof. Super friendly and helpful, and as if she somehow knew my propensity to always be late - she even gave me their cell phone number and told me not to worry if I was running late and returned after 6 pm (for the record, I got the canoe back by 5:55).
Family business. Bob and his family are great! Tons of knowledge for the area. Bait, tackle, licenses, maps, light gear, canoe & kayak stuff. This is a "must stop" for the area. Ely helped us out in a pinch and helped make our vacation great. Always look forward to stopping here when in the area.
