I took my son here hoping he could get some one on one to get him caught up with his work since he was so behind from going to crappy York city schools only for them to put him in a group setting for him to act up(exactly what I didn’t want, since he’s autistic and gets easily distracted overly stimulated) Total waste of my $3000.
After about 8 months of paying over $700 each month,it saddens me that I didn't see a difference. My child was constantly in front of a tablet every session. I thought my child would receive one on one individualized instruction....they did but it was tablet based. For the amount of money charged- Sylvan shouldn't be tablet based. It's similar to me paying for learning apps and having my child go through it.
We love Sylvan! It is our saving grace. Our son feel behind because of the first covid years. His confidence grows with each session.
