I enrolled my kids because they had not received the right help at their respective schools, which led to a gap in their knowledge, and they were testing below grade level. My son ended the school year "All A's Honor Roll" and scored 5s on both year-end State Tests. My other kid is also well on the way to getting to grade level. The results speak for themselves. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Sylvan Learning Center in Pembroke Pines. My grandson was significantly behind in school - testing below kindergarten level- even as he was nearing the end of 1st grade. We had tried several options before discovering Sylvan, including school-based tutoring through Dojo and after-school tutoring help led by high school students. My son was behind in math, it was a very frustrating time for him and I both. I enrolled my son in sylvan learning Pembroke Pines location desperate for help, and within two months there was a drastic change in him. He excelled in math and his confidence climbed up. I can’t say enough good things about the tutoring my 3rd grader has received! From the very first session, the tutor was patient, encouraging, and truly understood how to connect with young learners. My daughter was stuck on level 1 on the FAST test on reading. She started on Sylvan one month before her last FAST try so she could pass the grade. She passed the test with LEVEL 3!!!!! I am glad I found this place, she showed so much progress on a short period of time. Would recommend to anyone.
