I highly recommend this facility. I put my daughter in 4 days a week for tutoring. She was very behind… 2 letter grades in reading and math. Yeyyy for Florida public schools 🙄. I had a meeting with Steve who was wonderful and explained how the program worked and signed my daughter up for her tutoring sessions. She came home every day talking about how much she was learning and how much she liked her tutors. In 4 months she went up two full letter grades. We intended to go with Sylvan for about 3 months over the summer, and then we ended up staying in for a year. Focusing on reading, we liked the built in structure and continued assessment testing to mark my son’s progress (end of 3rd grade throughout 4th grade.) I’m glad we took a chance and tried Sylvan.

My son has been attending Sylvan Learning Center since March, and in less than three months, I have seen an incredible improvement in his reading skills. Thanks to Steve and his team of professional tutors, he has progressed from reading at a kindergarten level to nearly a third-grade level. So far so good. My child is difficult to deal with in terms of getting him to read or comply with homework so they have really been teaching him how he can do this better. Yes, it is extremely expensive as others have mentioned. For now it has been a good experience, hopefully I don’t have to edit the post.
