We intended to go with Sylvan for about 3 months over the summer, and then we ended up staying in for a year. Focusing on reading, we liked the built in structure and continued assessment testing to mark my son’s progress (end of 3rd grade throughout 4th grade.) I’m glad we took a chance and tried Sylvan.
My son has been attending Sylvan Learning Center since March, and in less than three months, I have seen an incredible improvement in his reading skills. Thanks to Steve and his team of professional tutors, he has progressed from reading at a kindergarten level to nearly a third-grade level. So far so good. My child is difficult to deal with in terms of getting him to read or comply with homework so they have really been teaching him how he can do this better. Yes, it is extremely expensive as others have mentioned. For now it has been a good experience, hopefully I don’t have to edit the post.
We have been with Sylvan center for 2 years now and my son has excelled at school! Scoring above average on FAST exam and impressing all his teachers. We are so happy with all the help and hard work we have been provided for our son’s growth and development. We absolutely love this place!
