They charged us top dollar prices to have 4 different teachers sitting with our child (on different days), all repeating the same 1 thing over & over again. They don't teach them new things, they just switch the instructor up and have them go over the same "Ch makes this sound..... now read these ch words to me"...... For the price we paid, we expected our child to actually learn how to read. Not be taught the same thing for 5 weeks. Save money and take your child elsewhere. Tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center has been a great experience for my son. He didn’t want to go there at first, but he has an appreciation for it now. They arranged for him to work with tutors that best fit his specific needs and challenges. His math and reading scores have significantly improved and he feels much more confident at school.
