My son feels confident doing math. Although he knew math, time management was an issue for him. Sylvan has improved his time management skills tremendously.
Sylvan has been a life saver for us. Our daughter was a struggling reader with low self confidence. If I asked her to read, she would go find the smallest book she could with lots of pictures and tried to guess her way through it. Within a few months she is doing so much better. She is confident enough now to call out words on street signs, words on products in the grocery store, and even open the Bible with me and read and follow along. I highly recommend Sylvan Learning.
This is a review worth writing. If your child suffers & needs additional help & nothing seems to work. Please don't wait!! Reach out to Sylvan Learning Center. My son has had an IEP for 3-4 years now & once we changed schools, he had an IEP that they really didn't do anything with him to help him. He was able to barely pass on his own & for that reason they dismissed him from his IEP which was a Specific Learning Disability in Reading & Comprehension. I found Sylvan through a friend & I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for extra help for their children. My daughter started at the beginning of the school year (because Mom was nervous about the big 3rd grade test and wanted to ensure she was on top of everything). Sylvan has helped her catch up on A BUNCH of skills she was lacking in. Not only that, she loved going there! The staff made her feel so at home!
