My experience with Sylvan Learning McKinney has been very pleasant. My 4th grader was struggling with reading and writing, so I decided to give Sylvan a shot. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! The lessons were based on strengthening his skillset and working to overcome his weaknesses in certain areas. The staff is super supportive and so nice. Especially Maddie, the manager is super sweet!
My experience with Sylvan Learning Center was disappointing, more so on the financial side. I received a loan for a certain amount, we used maybe 1/3 but I was being billed for the entirety. On top of that, I was told I would be getting money back which never happened. Trying to get this matter resolved has been a battle. The bank says contact your learning center, and the learning center says contact the bank. At this point legal action is going to be the only way this matter will get resolved. Again! We have had a great experience with weekly Sylvan tutoring for our daughter starting in Kindergarten and now continuing as a 1st grader. Her reading has greatly improved with Ms. Alisha’s assistance and the Sylvan staff are thorough, communicative, and professional.
My daughter has been for over three years and really likes it.
