My technician, Cesar was prompt (8am), professional, and kind. He communicated with me regarding everything he did to clear a clogged drain. He explained everything and made sure I understood. He recommended taking a look at the pipes in the crawl space, on another day, to make sure they weren’t leaking after another company improperly cut one of the pipes in my garage. This is the first time I’ve had to hire someone to clear a clogged drain and I’m glad I contacted Sykes.
This was a ripoff. The plumber said he had to do complicated cut on the pipe and then extend it to fit a check valve for $ 850. He did not do any of the cutting and just installed the check valve I bought. They still charged me $800 for a less than 30 minutes of work. Total ripoff, I felt i was robbed. The plumber even forgot to remove the old connector nut from the pipe, now it is just there hanging. Stay away. Will add photos soon.
