I was a patient of Dr. Syed at Pain Management Institute several years ago...since then I have had a lower back fusion, along with the two neck fusions I had....I agree with everyone else about the amount of time the dr. spends with you, but he did at that time re-fill my medications to where I wasn't hurting...the staff is ugly to patients calling in...and told me that since I was dropped when I moved away, I couldn't not be seen by this dr. again. Went here twice and all I can say is how does this guy stay in business. He sees 100 patients a day and literally spends 1minute with you handing you a script and could care less what you have to say. I went to Texarkana Pain Management and they are wonderful caring and compassionate people who spend time with you and dont run a pill mill
All I can say is if you wanna wait all day to see a doctor for 30 seconds who doesn't wish to listen to you and simply wants to see his other 200 patients to pull the insurance leverage go for it. If you want an understanding physician you values your problems look elsewhere
