Stayed one night in a king deluxe room on level 5, main road facing (504) Room was clean, did not experience any bug issues like other patrons. Check in was simple and they allowed us to stow bags ahead of check in. Central location is fantastic. However, being right across the road from the UTS bar, you'll hear doof doof music all night. We stayed in the King Deluxe room. I need to preface this review by saying that I very rarely will post a negative review. I’ve stayed in some budget places before & didn't expect anything special, but nothing could have prepared me for how revolting this room was. The moment I opened the door, I was hit with the stench of damp mould — the kind of smell that clings to your clothes. The window didn’t open, so there was no way to air the place out. Don’t trust all scam below message what people mumbled :) haha It’s definitely recommendable hotel especially location and price. Of course don’t expect top notch hotel yet good house cleaning, no any insects which I don’t really care. They are our friend and not disgusting creature. ☺️ Sydney is such a inflation costly city but it was great statement.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Sydney Riseon Hotel. For the price we paid, the level of service was shockingly unprofessional. First, staff communication is non-existent. We asked the same question multiple times and received different, contradictory answers every single time. There is clearly zero coordination among the team.
