Sword Inn is a very cute and cozy motel. I’ve stayed in hotels that cost the same or more and are not as nice as this motel. I found the room clean and cozy. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfy. Good coffee as well in the room and fast internet. I used the pool and sauna (hot tub out of order) and really enjoyed a relaxing swim. Sauna heated up quickly as well. Room was very ‘tired’. Dirty carpets, mold around tub and bath mat , tv was difficult to use, everything looked very dated. Breakfast was carb based (toast, English muffins, mini waffles, cereal) sugar based yogurt and fruit juice, not much for a diabetic at all, no protein. Bed was comfortable, heater in room worked well, check-in was good. Not worth the $158 for the room. We’ve stayed in much nicer rooms for less money.
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If I could give a minus score I would. The cleaning staff was very nice and helpful, the owner has a good staff, unfortunately for people ( like the owner) who are in the hospitality business they show very poor customer service. I wanted to discuss my bill, considering I was staying more than two weeks ( 18 days to be exact) would he consider giving us a break, he wouldn’t even talk to me.The bathroom in the room was filthy with mold in the shower ( which poses serious health iss... read more
