Largest of three forested picnic parks in the area. Currently closed until November 30, 2024, because of fire danger.
I wish I had pics! View was great! Woody picnic area. Great spot. Everyone should stop and stretch when driving by on Scenic Highway. It's got the vibe you would drive that highway for!
Secluded treasure, good for a paved circular walk with great views, a few monument placks to read, picnic tables and decent restrooms. Lots of shade, great escape from the heat.
