The Swiss Roots Inn offerd a comfortable night's sleep. Though I must say the nightlife in town left a little to be desired. (Three deer in the field across the way, a possum scurrying across the road, And the neighborhood dogs were friendly though I would guess they often sucker unwitting visitors into feeding them based on their follow you around nature.) This was easily in my top 3 places I've ever been
Our time at the Swiss Roots Inn was everything we hoped it would be. We stayed for 4 nights/5 days, and it was a quiet, slow-paced visit to a tiny community with interesting history and great food! We used Helvetia as a jumping-off point for day hikes at Holly River and Kumbrabow parks. The staff was kind and our room was very clean and comfortable.
