Firstly Swingbellys is bar that servers bbq food. It is your typical beach bar found on the Jersey shore or any of the thousands of other similar locations. Even with half the bar open to the daylight, it was still dark and dingy. I was with a birthday party and we had a great time. The servers were cheerful and friendly but sometimes MIA. The food. The food is disappointing. It is not worth the $ at all
The brisket was mostly fat, the portions are severely lacking for the amount of money they charge. I don't get the allure of this place at all.
My family had our whole dinner ruined by the employee Liam the other night. When bringing out our food, he said unfriendly remarks to my daughter, who knew him from school. We were stunned! As if that isn’t bad enough, when she got up to use the bathroom, he put his leg in front of her to knock her over on her way back to her seat! UNACCEPTABLE!! She could have really gotten hurt! My family is outraged and we will not be returning to this establishment. I urge you to steer clear as well.
Standard bbq joint atmosphere was okay. Especially nice with doors & windows open on a warm day with alight breeze.😊 A little bit loud with all the macho "bro" energy. Service was good, everyone worked together. Now for the food... the collard greens were okay, not sweetened like some places (I don't like sweetened).
