Great dive bar in Laporte, Colorado, which is French for "The Porte". Cold drinks, awesome bartenders, and sometimes really great food. An excellent place to find sustenance after exploring up the Poudre Canyon or at Horsetooth.
If we lived around here, this would be our spot hands down. We accidentally walked into a seemingly open-mic night, but the music was great. The bartender was super kind and personable without putting on the fake face that you find at some of the spots in Fort Collins. Everyone here seemed genuienly themselves and were open to passer-byers. Beer was cheap, but it was cold and served quick.
The food truck always rocks and the service is great! We love that swing station is always the swing station and never tries to be anything else!
Fantastic vibes and a great drive bar. The bartender is great. The locals are friendly and they have a nice patio space.
