Nice place to get back onto your feet, new management and has been since October of 2024, they give support for food, food bank every week and also staff are very friendly, only fault is fire alarms and it being an old building, some room doors get stiff and you have to slam them shut, my toilet lid is also coming off and I’m a skinny guy so I don’t know what the blip happened with that, the room I had before had a toilet handle coming apart as well, toilets are cursed and so are doors.
Charged a sickening £250 a month in Service Charges for 57 vulnerable & desperate (homeless) young people who had nowhere else to go and only had an income of £270 a month in universal credit. Kids 16+ used to break down and cry all the time because they couldn't afford the costs and were getting into thousands of pounds debt. Some of them were still in school and couldnt even afford bus fair and lunches but were told by the then manager to learn to budget?? They therefore expected 57 young people to live off £20 a month!! I lived at the foyer for about a year until they kicked me out without an eviction notice 5 days ago I’m now homeless and have literally no where to go and the reason they kicked me out was because me and another resident got into a fight literally on the other side of Swindon and because he was “more vulnerable” then me he didn’t even get in trouble and I’m now homeless it’s not really a place for no where to go it’s a place for people with disabilities they do not care about you at all unless you have a disability then the... read more
