We didnt get a fair deal here. The car we purchased had not been inspected. The repairs totaled \$3400 for a \$3500 car. The tires deflated as soon as they hit our driveway. Do your homework. Take any car you are considering purchasing from Swihart Motors to a mechanic first. Now we have a dealer who wont call us back. Now we have a car that might not be safe for my daughter to drive.
I have purchased four used cars from Dave (1 for me and 1 for each of my 3 children) and havent been disappointed in any of them. If I need an affordable used car, Ill go to Dave Swihart and get one.
I purchased a 98 Cavalier from Swihart Motors a few wks. ago. i prayed to find a decent, good running used car with low mileage. I got it. I even got a car without rust, and in prestine condition inside. Ive always cringed dealing with any dealership, new or used, but Dave is of a different nature. He is a man of good integrity. I have made three car purchases over the past 5 years at Swihart Motors, and I feel very qualified to write this review. Anyone who says that they have never met an honest used car dealer must never have met Dave Swihart. I would say honest, fair minded, and just an all around good man is how I would describe Dave.
