To answer your question about the extra fee...they are regulated by the state on the fee they can charge for the inspection so every time someone conveniently uses their credit card- the company loses money! It's only 80 cents... They also except cash or check if you don't want to pay the 80 cent card convenience fee....
They were very quick in getting me in, and getting my vehicle inspected. They have decided to charge a fee for them (I guess a card fee) on top of the State Inspection fee. I called up there to ask about the addtional fee on my charge. The guy who answered the phone had a real condescending tone with me, when all I did was ask a question. I will not use this place again. Other places do NOT charge an additional fee.
