Our recent experience with Swiftrentz car rental was a massive letdown. The pick-up was a mess and their communication was really unprofessional. When we got to the lot, the Tesla I booked only had 13% charge left. That meant no AC, which kicks in only above 20%. With the car feeling like an oven at over 102°F and being new to the city, we had to scramble to find a supercharger nearby. These people were awful and rude. They put a tracking device on the car I was renting from them without messaging me about it or disclosing that information in their description of the vehicle per Turo's host policy. My phone picked up a tracking device in the car 2 days after my rental, so I panicked thinking I parked somewhere and some stalker attached a GPS tracker. I tried to reach out to SwiftRentz to inquire by messaging them in the Turo app and they NEVER RESPONDED. I had to call them 3 times. Someone finally answered... read more
