I bought a new travel trailer from Swenson RV. Traded in my old Class C motorhome plus $10,000 cash. After the transaction, I learned that they marked up the price by 60% over invoice! My motorhome trade alone was worth $10,000 more than Swenson’s wholesale price!! And that’s not even the worst of it. Recently purchased our second new fifth wheel rv from them. No games or gimmicks, no added fees… just a straightforward “here’s the price”. Both times we drove over 100 miles to them passing other dealerships just for that reason. I feel they have treated us fair and we will be back again when the need arises.

This business is understaffed and has all the problems that come with it. I ended up driving to Fargo and Camping World to find a resolution to my issue on a one-year-old trailer.

Beware that if you buy a boat from Swenson marine you better inspect it. I paid close to new price for a 2 year old boat at the time with a sunk in floor. Paid for extra warranty, which transfers to next owner within 5 years. 10 Year warranty on structural/defective floor not covered according to the rep who sent an email to Tracker with my pictures showing a clear dip in floor.
